Darling "P" Family Cuties

These cute girls are always such fun to photograph. It's not very often that someone other than a newlywed is anxious for the photographer to take pics. Upon entering my home on Monday, Miss B says, "Ok Jenolyn, I'm ready for you to take my pictures." First we did some 4th of July pics and then Mommy P asked me to do some pics of baby R. I LOVE the way they turned out. Such a cutie! Anytime Meg!

Master & Misses H & H

Mama H contacted me about doing some 4th of July pics and I was thrilled to help. I especially love how vibrant the red is with the green background. (I'm sure somewhere my mom is silently shouting "Color Wheel!") We had so much fun with these 2, exploring bugs and frogs and all the other joys of nature. Little Miss H was all dolled up and looking super cute so she wasn't too keen on all of that nature getting on her beautiful shoes, but I still think we got some great shots. Thanks guys!

This is one of those photography secrets to getting kids to loosen up...tell them they can scream!

I love the look on his face. He was 100% excited to see that tiny frog. What a good mommy to catch it for them!

I love getting genuine smiles out of kids. So much better than a hundred forced ones!

Some more favorites

I really love taking pictures of flowers. Sometimes I feel so captivated by the simple beauty I can be at it for quite some time. Thankfully I have a patient husband who humors me and my periodic Monk-ness.

I'm sure I'll add more to this post from time to time, but for now, here's a few of my fav's

This is one from our Carpinteria Trip from last year. I only thought about it since we're getting ready to go again soon.
