These beautiful baby girls are my nieces. When I first found out that my sister n law was pregnant with twins, I knew I wanted to do some pictures for them. Of course that meant that I was going to be very, very pregnant myself but I still wanted to try. Earlier in the week I was having crazy amounts of contractions which I worried would mean I wouldn't make it the the photo shoot that Friday, but I laid super low for the rest of the week so I could make it. And let me tell you, I now have a bazillion times more respect for parents of and photogs who regularly shoot twins! What a fun challenge to get two babies simultaneoulsy asleep, with full tummies, and poopie free at the same time!! I'm looking forward to many more photo shoots in the future of these darling little girls. Welcome to the family little ones!!
We had originally planned to do this shoot outside in an orchard or something but it was a weekend of snow flurries in the High Desert. So we set up a mini studio in my home instead. Halfway through shooting we looked out to a mini blizzard outside! I just love this family; they are great friends of ours. It's especially a treat to have their sweet girls be willing to smile at me! Thanks guys!

I am proud to be a wife and stay at home mother of FIVE darling, adorable, wonderful children married to my very best friend.
As a photographer, I prefer my personal portrait style to be more photo journalistic than posed. I want to show families as real people full of quirks and life. I want you to see yourselves as loving, connected people, not just properly lined up dots on a page. I LOVE capturing those precious moments in the lives of a family that define who we are!
Although I do have a small studio in my home, my favorite location to shoot is definitely outdoors at that "Golden Hour" right before sunset! To see more of my current work, follow me on Facebook!
