Jacob - Senior Portraits

I know I've said this before, but I really enjoy doing Senior Portraits. There's something almost magical about this moment in a person's life; that prelude to the future...whatever it may be. Jacob was a lot of fun and I really love the shots we got of him! The black and white is one of my all time favorites!

Marlyn

One of my favorite parts of shooting teenagers is that point in the session when they begin to trust me as a photographer; and they really relax and allow me to see their true personality. This session was really fun for me and we discovered a new favorite spot close by for taking pictures! Miss Marlyn will be turning 16 very soon and this shoot was part of her sweet 16 party in November. I'm really looking forward to being apart of her special day!

Rob & Stephanie - in love

Stephanie contacted me a few weeks ago saying that her fiance, Rob, had flown in to surprise her and if we could do their engagements pictures the next morning. Of course, I said yes and I am so glad that I did! We had a really fun time and these are some of my most favorite pictures I've ever taken. Stephanie is such a sweet person and I am so glad that she has found someone who completely adores her! Congratulations you two!!! This one is my kids' favorite! After a delightful game of splash in the water, he swooped her up for a kiss. =) What a beautiful way to end this session! Love it!

Tyaan - Patiently Waiting - Maternity Portraits

I love the anticipation and excitement of a young couple expecting their first baby. Everything is new and full of beauty and curiosity. Tyaan and Michael were both so sweet. I am really looking forward to doing their baby's pictures in a few months. Congratulations you guys!! Love this series! This amazing mommy-to-be actually walked across this huge log to get to the middle for this shot. I was never that coordinated when I was pregnant! I think this one is my favorite!
